More About My Service
The Power of Art - Connection and Visibility
I have experienced how the power of thinking, making and jointly looking at art alongside others, can create deep connections and a greater sense of self. I believe making art can enable people to express themselves freely without words, using symbolic imagery to feel understood and seen. I work with Health, Social & Cultural Organisations, co -producing, delivering and evaluating creative programmes within galleries, museums, schools and therapeutic communities.
Processing Trauma - Exploring Hope
My aim is to creatively serve the community in a therapeutically accessible and inclusive way, in order to develop improved emotional health, particularly for neurodiverse individuals and marginalised groups who have experienced complex trauma, displacement, loss of identity and isolation. I aim to support professionals and support networks working alongside individuals in order for hope to thrive.
My Personal Experience - Being Alongside
I trained as an Art Psychotherapist with a Masters from Goldsmiths University London in 2018, and combine my extensive background in working with people with complex neurodiverse and physical support needs with my inclusive art psychotherapy practice, due to its primarily non verbal mode. I continue to explore my connection with art making through my own painting and drawing practice. I aim for my clients to feel alongside their support networks through open and co -produced models of care.
