More About my Service

The Power of Art - Connection and Visibility

I have experienced how the power of thinking, making and jointly looking at art alongside others, can create deep connections and a greater sense of self. I believe making art can enable people to express themselves freely without words, using symbolic imagery to feel understood and seen. I work with Creative Practitioners, Health, Social & Cultural Organisations, co -producing, delivering and evaluating creative programmes within galleries, museums, schools and therapeutic communities.

Processing Trauma - Exploring Hope

My aim is to creatively serve the community in a therapeutically accessible and inclusive way, in order to develop improved mental health, particularly for neurodiverse individuals and marginalised groups who have experienced complex trauma, displacement, loss of identity and isolation. I aim to support professionals and support networks working alongside individuals in order for hope to thrive.

My Personal Experience - Being Alongside

I trained as an Art Teacher, Community Artist then Art Psychotherapist with a Masters from Goldsmiths University London in 2018. I combine my extensive background in working with people with complex neurodiverse and physical support needs with my inclusive art psychotherapy practice, due to its primarily non verbal mode. I continue to explore my connection with art making through my own painting and drawing practice. I aim for my clients to feel alongside their support networks through open and co -produced models of care.
